Regional networks for FORB trainers
Networks in the MENA and Sub-Saharan African regions
The FORB Learning Platform supports active regional networks of FORB trainers in the Middle East and North Africa region (Arabic speaking) and in sub-Saharan Africa (English and French speaking). These networks primarily consist of people who have taken the online FORB Training of Trainers course, but also include other individuals working with FORB and FORB trainings.
The networks meet regularly – mainly digitally, but occasionally in-person – for building new connections, mutual support, learning exchange, training, capacity building, sharing resources and finding synergies. The networks are hosted and run by organisations based in the region and the purpose of the network is to support FORB practitioners and trainers in the region, giving them a mutual platform to share experiences, challenges and best practices.
The FORB Trainers network in the MENA region is hosted by Adyan Foundation in Lebanon and the network in the Sub-Saharan Africa is hosted by PROCMURA in Kenya. We hope in future to be able to support a network of trainers in the Asia region – contact us if you are interested in collaborating in or funding this endeavour.
